In my capacity as a senior manager at a multinational corporation with diverse business interests spanning real estate, technology, and publishing, I was entrusted with the leadership of a comprehensive job reclassification and compensation model overhaul. This undertaking encompassed the following key tasks:
- Comprehensive review, consultation, and updates of job descriptions
- Review employee backgrounds and performance reviews to determine their suitable fit within the proposed organizational structure.
- Implementation of the Radford model for career pathing, succession planning, and compensation structuring
- Analysis of current compensation standards and metrics
- Establishment of minimum, mid, and maximum salary ranges for each position based on company metrics and comparable industry benchmarks
- Adjustments to salaries for employees whose positions were reclassified or whose compensation fell outside the newly defined parameters
